Privacy

What we store, why, and how to remove it.

What we collect

  • A random device id created in your browser when you follow a match or save alert preferences. It is not linked to your name, email address or any account because there are no accounts.
  • Followed matches and alert preferences stored against that device id so they survive a reload. Quiet hours, muting and event choices live here too.
  • Push subscription details if you turn on browser push: an endpoint and encryption keys issued by your browser. You can turn this off in Settings, and expired subscriptions are discarded.
  • Aggregate usage of our provider allowance — request counts, endpoints and error kinds — so we can stay inside the budget. These records are about the provider, not about you.

What we do not collect

  • No advertising identifiers, fingerprinting or cross-site trackers are set by our own code.
  • No analytics product is loaded at launch; the request accounting is server-side.
  • No provider API keys or session tokens are ever sent to your browser. Provider credentials stay on the server.

Advertising and consent

Advertising is not enabled yet. When it is, it will run behind a Google-certified consent management platform in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, so personalised advertising only happens where you have agreed to it.

Removing your data

The Forget this device button in Settings clears your follows, preferences and push subscription on our side; your browser can also clear local storage. There is no separate deletion request process because there is no account to delete.
